What a hair transplant costs in Salt Lake City — and why nobody will say online

Neither practice in our Salt Lake City comparison publishes a price. UFP Hair Restoration shows no figures; Alvi Armani states that pricing “depends on factors such as number of grafts, complexity, and your individual goals.” Both quote at consultation. The two practices also differ in a way that shapes the quote itself: one offers FUE and FUT, the other is FUE-only — so one consultation can produce two comparable numbers, and the other produces one.

From each clinic's site, checked August 2026. If either practice publishes figures, tell us and we will update this page.

Where both techniques are offered, FUT typically carries a lower per-graft rate — in the one practice in our index that publishes both, the spread is $5 versus $6 per graft. Asking UFP for both numbers at the same graft count gives you an anchor that an FUE-only quote can then be read against.

Branded FUE variants and the rate question

Alvi Armani's menu lists several named FUE variants. Trade names describe protocol differences; the estimate still reduces to rate × graft count + bundling. Whatever the variant, ask which rate applies to your case and what the variant changes clinically for you — and get the total in writing next to the graft count.

Salt Lake City cost questions

What do hair transplants cost in Salt Lake City?

Neither practice we reviewed publishes figures. UFP Hair Restoration publishes no pricing; Alvi Armani Salt Lake City states that pricing “depends on factors such as number of grafts, complexity, and your individual goals” and quotes at consultation. The published calibration points in our index are elsewhere: $5–6 per graft in the Raleigh market, $4,000–18,000 case ranges in Charlotte.

Does an FUE-only clinic cost more than one offering both FUE and FUT?

Not automatically — but it changes the conversation. Where both techniques exist, FUT typically carries the lower per-graft rate and you can ask for both quotes. At an FUE-only practice there is no cheaper-technique quote to compare against, so the graft count and rate carry the whole comparison. Salt Lake City has one practice of each kind, which makes collecting both estimates unusually informative.

What should a Salt Lake City estimate spell out?

Technique; graft count from a physician’s evaluation; per-graft rate or a dividable total; what is bundled; and — because one local practice fields three surgeons and the other is the outpost of a multi-city brand — the name of the person who would actually perform your case.
